M.A.C Lipstick Review

Hello Lovelies!!

As I said in my previous post, this is my first M.A.C Lipstick purchase. Can I just say now how impressed I am? Why did this take me so long? I’ve read the reviews and the raves and it seems any beauty blogger worth her salt has a least one MAC product.

So it took me awhile to actually pick a colour. I usually go for a “my lip colour but better” rose tone or a coral colour. But I was feeling daring and went pretty bold (for me). I have been wanting to try bold red lips and I think I just found my dream colour!

M.A.C Matte Lipstick in “Ruby Woo’ (RRP:$36). Where have you been all my life? But seriously, this is a great red colour and I think would suit a lot of people. You can just wear a hint of colour or really build it to stand out. It has a nice cherry red to it and I really like the matte look. Makes it perfect for a dressed up/office day wear or heading out on the town.

It has really great staying power too. This is what really impressed me. The no marks on my wine glass test. Wearing it through the day I only really had to re-apply once. It did stand up to some food, although not deep fried Vietnamese, but it definitely lasted much longer and better than any other lippies I have owned.

I know I look a bit serious! But that is how the colour looks. Loving it! The formula is nice too. Not drying in anyway.

Would I repurchase? Hell yes! In fact I will be looking to expand my M.A.C collection!

How about you guys? Do you have a favorite M.A.C Lipstick? Or something else you thing is better? I would love to hear from you!
