Empties for April/May

Hello Lovelies 🙂

I had a bit of a clean out with my make up bag and I had finished up a few other products, so that means an empties post. YAY!

I’m not sure how often I will do this posts, I think I will just wait until I feel I have enough products.

I have already reviewed the Lush Fresh Face Masks in another post which you can read here. The Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser I will post a separate review for that one, so keep an eye out for that.

What else is there? Well here are the products I have used up this month…

Garnier Perfect Blur 5sec Smoothing Base Perfector (RRP $16.99)

I bought this when it first came out and I have to say I like it. To be honest, I don’t know how much it “blurs” lines etc. Having said that I don’t really have problems with fine lines or uneven skin tone. What it does do is make my face feel super smooth!! I really liked the feel of my skin after I used it. It does work as a nice primer for make up. Is it the best primer out there? Probably not, but it isn’t a bad one and if you are on a budget. I would think about repurchasing it. I am trying out a few other similar products at the moment, so we shall see how it compares.

Model Co Fat Lash Mascara – I got this one as a sample in one of my Bellaboxes. Have to say, I don’t like it. I have much better mascaras in my kit. I found it messy and just didn’t stand out for me. I would not purchase this one.

Clinique High Impact Waterproof Mascara in 01 Black – This is one of my go to mascaras. I really like the Clinique make up and this is my favourite of their products. it is just a good waterproof everyday mascara. I’ve used this one up and need to repurchase. It is a little more expensive, but well worth it I think.

Garnier Skin Naturals Refreshing Make-Up Remover Wipes – These are ok face wipes. I have to say though that they did have trouble removing my Rimmel eyeliner though. It is a tough eyeliner to remove, but I really do need something to take it off. I probably wouldn’t rush out to buy these again.

Target Cosmetic Face Pads – I heard Goo Roo Beauty saying how much she liked these and I am sick of cheap cotton pads falling apart on me. So I gave these a go. They didn’t fall apart at all which was good, but I felt they were very rough to use. Good for removing nail polish, but I didn’t like using them on my face. I prefer the Johnson & Johnson ones best. I would not repurchase these.

Model Co Lipstick in Get Naked – Another Bellabox item. It is really the colour that doesn’t work for me. It is too pale so it just makes me look sick. If I was a teenager trying to get out of going to school, this would be great. Too pale and not an amazing lipstick either. It feels a little cheap to me.

Aurora Spa Rituals Vanilla Honey Lip Moisturiser – This doesn’t taste particular of vanilla or honey to me. It mostly taste plastic or not really of anything. It definitely doesn’t hold up against my Lucas Paw Paw ointment.

Clinique Moisture Surge Moisturizer – I liked this. It is a good face moisturizer and it has a gel consistency so it is good if you have combination or oily skin. It feels light on the face and absorbs quickly. For me, it would best in winter when my skin gets a littler drier. I would repurchase this one.

Garnier Invisi Mineral Deodorant –  I clearly like Garnier products and this deodorant is fine. The scent is a little stronger if I remember correctly or at least I didn’t love it. I do like the fact you can lock the spray nozzle so it is good for your gym bag etc. I have started to move away from spray deodorants to more natural ones. It’s a fine enough product, but I won’t be repurchasing.
