A Few of My Favourite Things….

Hello Lovelies!

So today I thought I would share some of my favourite products. I’ve been trying lots of new products at the moment and finding new favourites, but today I thought I would share some of my staple products. Ones that I repurchase over and over. I’m pretty sure that we all have these products in our beauty cabinet. Those products that you keep coming back to time and again.

Here is my list:

20140515_150024[1] Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment (RRP $49.95):

I first bought this a few years ago when I was growing my hair out and I haven’t been without it since! It is pricey, but one bottle lasts me at least a year so it  is value for money. Moroccan Oil is a leave in hair treatment made with Argan oil, for those of you who aren’t familiar with it. I’m pretty sure that this one was one of the first of it’s kind available, but don’t quote me on that. I love that it isn’t too heavy on my hair and makes it feel all soft and healthy. I will say that you only need the smallest amount and I only use it  on the ends of my hair. It can get too oily or heavy if you use to much.

20140515_145858[1] Garnier Skin Naturals BB Cream in Light (RRP: $13.99):

I love this and for awhile was the only foundation type thing I wore on my skin. I haven’t tried too many other BB cream’s except the L’Oreal one, which I didn’t like. I also have to be careful about which Garnier one I get because there are a few (eg: sensitive skin, oily skin etc) and I find that I don’t like some of the others as much as this one. Which is weird. I use this under make up and on it’s own when I don’t feel like having a lot on my face. Though I’ve been swapping it with the Maybelline NY Fit Stick foundation.

20140515_145457[1] Nivea Light Feel Daily Face Veil in SPF 30+ (RRP $12.99):

Being an Aussie girl I need to have a pretty good sunscreen and I wear this year round. Normal sunscreen is too thick for my skin and general makes me break out. This is nice and light. Easy to put underneath make up if you need too.

20140515_145916[1] Lucas’ Paw Paw Ointment (RRP:$4.95):

Another Aussie girl staple. This is a topical ointment and can be used on a range of things such as burns, insect bites, cuts, chafing, rashes and cracked skin to name a few. I use it as a lip balm and it’s a really good one. When I work up at the snow this is the products everyone used to stop getting cracked lips. Cheap, lasts forever (I generally lose mine before I run out) and effective. Winner.

20140515_150008[1] Essence I *heart* Extreme  Volume Mascara (RRP: $4.95):

You know for a super cheap mascara, this works really well. I was a little doubtful when I bought it, but I have been impressed. Ok you can’t layer it up without it clumping, but it goes on pretty thick anyway. For a $5 mascara I think it’s a really good buy, even if you are not on a budget.

20140515_150038[1] Marc Jacobs Daisy (RRP $99.00/50ml):

This is my favourite perfume. I like perfume too, so I have a couple. This is without doubt my everyday one. I don’t believe in saving perfumes for special occasions, I like to wear them all the time. Daisy is such a nice fresh scent, that’s not too strong. So I can wear it to work and not feel like people around me are choking on it when they breathe. Love, Love, Love.

Well that’s my list of staple products. I would love to hear what yours are! Leave a comment below!

I am falling in love with the Garnier BB cream. I use a powder over the top and it gives me such a natural complexion all day! I also can’t live without Lucas pawpaw! 😻😻😻
